The Farm, was founded in Summertown  Tennessee in 1971.  The Tennessean assigned George Walker to shoot a photo essay for the Sunday Tennessean Lifestyle Magazine about daily life on the commune founded by Stephens Gaskin.
The Farm survives today, and is at the forefront of minimalist living and the Green Movement
